Tombox June 2015 Review

TOMBOX JUNE 2015 REVIEW 

Hi guys I'm so excited for today's post because it is my first subscription box review ! TOMBOX (time of the month) comes with your choice of feminine product, jewelry , makeup and candy for only $16 & FREE SHIPPING! You can also double the amount of makeup and jewelry you get each month for an extra $6 and choose to add a 4pk razor for an extra $12.
 How it works - When signing up you choose which name brand tampons / pads you want , then choose your skin type and fashion style and they will personally customize the makeup and jewelry you receive in each box.

These were my " first views" of the box , I have to say I was pretty impressed  because it was packed and I was eager to open everything up !

Well fist things first of course the main purpose of this box is the time of the month so you need either tampons or pads . You have the option to choose from multiple name brand tampons/pads . I personally prefer Playtex  so I chose the sport super absorbency  tampon. I was so happy they sent an 18 count box instead of individual tampons .

The next thing in the box was this face peel , I do think this is a sample size but I did realize a little goes a long way. I had a chance to use it and I must say I really like it ! You apply a small amount and rub it on your face and all the dirt literally rolls off . So this was an amazing product to receive I might end up buying the full size product but its a little pricey .

Next was this Bombshell lip crayon , This was my first time using a lip crayon and I must say I fell in love with the idea of he product  but not this color it was a little to bright for me when I applied it. But  this did make me realize I should start buying lip crayons .

This was originally wrapped in its plastic packaging but I had to take it off to take the picture. I personally don't wear eyeliner but this one applies it in such soft straight lines and it was so easy to apply and control.
Tattooed Eyeliner - $15

 This makeup brush was in a clear plastic package as you can see above but it doesn't have a brand on it so I'm not sure how much it costs. I personally wasn't so fond of this brush because it wasn't soft and I don't like that but I'm guessing its supposed to be because its an eyeliner brush , but like I said I don't wear eyeliner

 I love Maybelline  products but I never tried their nail polishes and this seems to be trending so this was nice to receive. I tried it out and I really liked the color but it was pretty hard to take off which some people might think is a good thing but I like to change my nail color a lot , it did not stain though which is good.
Color Show Nail Polish - $3.99

 This is a keratin infused hair lotion and I haven't tried it yet but I cant wait because my hair does tend to get frizzy in the summer. When I first opened my tombox this was the first thing I smelled and I still cant get enough of the smell! I have read a ton of good reviews on this though and plus this sample was in a lot of subscription boxes this month so it must be pretty good.

The last two things in my box were these 2 jewelry pieces, I liked how they put it in a jewelry bag instead of tissue paper or a box. I loved the ring its so simple and pretty and goes with a variety of outfits as for the bracelet I didn't like it that much because it looks like something a child would wear but my daughter did love it. I don't know yet if they rust or change colors but I don't expect them to last a long time although they seem like pretty good quality.



Overall I did like the majority of the products in this subscription box and the only thing I think that needs improvement is probably the decoration of the box itself and to include an information card on the non brand name products like the brushes and jewelry , other than that I really liked this box.The estimate amount when you add all the prices this box cost more than $70 !!!!! That's not including the brush and I added the sample size price not full size price and each jewelry cost about $5 . So $70 worth of stuff for only $16 I say that's a major WIN!!
